In today's ‘Facebook era’, we are constantly tracked and tagged by social media giants. I was interested in taking a close look at how Facebook perceived my relationship with my life partner. In this counter-reverse-tracking investigation, I tried to visualize my relationship through their eyes.
I researched 10 years of interchanged likes, loves, tags, posts and photos we sent each other between 2010-2019. I reviewed, collected and numbered each Facebook interaction in the attempt to find out if Facebook considered my relationship to be getting stronger or weaker with time.
The results are presented as a code-based data visualization project that set out to gain control or rather false control over my privacy and revealed information.
