Itamar Medical is one of the leading companies in the U.S. for the diagnosis of sleep disorders. Their medical device (WatchPat) is a small wrist-mounted device that monitors sleep. The device connects to a mobile app that helps users follow the sleep test steps and answer a set of essential medical questionnaires.
I worked on the visual concept, the user flow, user experience and ultimately the user interface design, in order to optimally incorporate the questionnaires into the app. The challenge was to build an accessible and comfortable patient experience in order to achieve 100% filled & accurate questionnaires. My objective was to keep the patient engaged, motivated and cooperative, so as to fully answer the questionnaires and share data.
The result was a friendly, trustworthy addition to the health app, with professional medical aesthetics and high engagement rates.
